3 Ways to be More Comfortable in Front of the Camera

Tip #1- Before your session, stand in front of the mirror. Often. Tilt your head to one side and the other, and stand to one side or the other. Look up some poses online and test them out! Figure out if you have a "good side" or any certain ways that you feel the most amazing!

Tip #2- Wear flattering clothes! Don't wear big loose sweaters or baggy things. Slightly more form-fitting clothes always tend to photograph better. If you are self-conscious about a certain part of yourself, cover it! I like to wear long sleeves because I do not totally love my arms. Covering is fine, and flowy is fine, just avoid super baggy or anything that might make you feel frumpy. You can always message me pictures of outfits and I can help you decide!

Tip #3- Speak up! I can show you the back of the camera! I was doing a session the other day and showed her a few shots and she asked to do them again because she forgot that wasn't her good side. So of course we did them again!

I want you to always feel comfortable and beautiful during your session! I want you to love your pictures for years and years to come!
